Dr. Linda Patterson
St. Andrew’s, Bryan
I am the full-time Music Director at St. Andrew’s, Bryan. My training is in Organ Performance and Sacred Music, with degrees from the University of Houston and the University of Texas at Austin. As a Lay Professional working in three different parishes our Diocese for the last 35 years, and the Chair of the Diocesan Music Commission for 20 years, I have been involved with Music Commission events such as Diocesan Music Camp and the Diocesan Choral Festival, annual ECW and DOK Retreats, by serving as a faculty member for the Iona School, teaching Safeguarding, and assisting with music for Council Worship. My husband Randy and I have raised three daughters in the church, including one who is an Episcopal priest. I served as part of the General Convention Deputations to Salt Lake City and Baltimore, and would be honored to be able to serve once again. My skills and training would be useful in representing our Diocese, and speaking on topics such as lay professionals, music and liturgy. I have the experience, time, and ability to serve you well.
