I am running for re-election as the diocesan clergy trustee. Sewanee realizes the Episcopal Church’s commitment to higher education at both the undergraduate and graduate theological levels. I continue to be invested in promoting access for students of all socio-economic backgrounds as an active member of the Enrollment and Student Success Committee. As a part-time doctoral student in history at the University of Oxford, I have sought to strengthen the relationship between Sewanee and Oxford by mentoring Sewanee graduates overseas and facilitating connections between the two faculties. In Texas, I have hosted Sewanee events, including a freshmen ‘send-off’, EfM receptions and donor dinners for the Dean of the School of Theology. I hope to continue to serve our faithful, growing and vibrant diocese through our ministry at Sewanee.
Me presento a la reelección como fideicomisario del clero diocesano. Sewanee hace realidad el compromiso de la Iglesia Episcopal con la educación superior, tanto a nivel de licenciatura como de posgrado en teología. Como miembro activo del Comité de Matriculación y Éxito Estudiantil, sigo comprometida con la promoción del acceso de estudiantes de todos los niveles socioeconómicos. Como estudiante de doctorado a tiempo parcial en Historia en la Universidad de Oxford, he tratado de fortalecer la relación entre Sewanee y Oxford mediante la tutoría de graduados de Sewanee en el extranjero y facilitando las conexiones entre las dos facultades.
